Job Description: 
  • Develop best practice approaches in defining a strategy for SharePoint solutions and guide other common tasks like solution migration across SharePoint versions.
  • Develop SharePoint (2013/Online) enterprise solution architecture and identify gaps/overlaps between the as-is and to-be SharePoint environments by process/function.
  • Guide implementing and configuring both third-party and indigenously built SharePoint based solutions.
  • Create and support various aspects of SharePoint solution including site collections, sites, master pages/templates, pages, web parts, content types, lists, libraries, workflows, and navigation and configuring SharePoint features to business needs.
  • Communicate, coordinate and support SharePoint users, SharePoint site and server administrators.
  • Share knowledge and mentor both technical and non-technical stakeholders to create additional SharePoint focused resources
  • Monitor and manage issues regarding compliance with SharePoint industry best practices and standards.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • At least 8 years’ experience in designing SharePoint application architecture for projects spanning business units, involving multiple resource pools, detailed understanding of SharePoint 2013/Online platforms.
  • At least 8 years’ experience in proven information architecture skills, specifically related to SharePoint 2013/online data capabilities, along with thorough understanding of inter-relationships between content types, shared columns, search, navigation, information management policies, governance, and other data-related facets of an enterprise SharePoint implementation
  • Minimum of 8+ years of IT project execution and a minimum 4 years of MS SharePoint 2013/online solution design experience for large number of users in an enterprise environment using agile or waterfall delivery models.
  • Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience with SharePoint 2013/online solution design, development through deployment using Visual Studio 2012, C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, JSOM, HTML5, REST API, Bootstrap etc.
  • Minimum of 4+ years’ experience working with Microsoft Technologies & Architecture - SharePoint Server 2013 Web Parts development & deployment and SharePoint Designer/Nintex Workflows based solutions and related technologies
  • Minimum of 4+ years of hands-on experience with Metalogix content matrix, Control Point, Sensitive Content Manager, Bind Tuning
  • Minimum of 2+ years of developing and testing PowerShell scripts to support SharePoint 2013/online solutions.
  • Good understanding and strong working knowledge of OOTB (Out of The Box) functionality and configuration of SharePoint platform.
  • Strong ability to design & develop web-based solutions for business needs using SharePoint technologies.
  • Good conceptual understanding of the building blocks of SharePoint (IIS, ASP.NET, Virtual Directories, Active Directory).
  • Must have excellent customer-facing, interpersonal, organizational, analytical, and problem solving, excellent report writing and presentation skills.
  • 2+ years of proven success in architecting and designing SharePoint application architectures for projects spanning multiple business units, involving multiple resource pools based
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
  • MCSD/ MCSE SharePoint certification is desirable.
  • Experience in building SharePoint solutions for transportation, food services and sports industry will be a big plus
