VOIP Project Director

We are seeking a Project Director for our VOIP team.

Required Skills

Minimum 2-4 Years Project Management experience
Minimum 2-4 Years LAN/WAN design/implementation experience
Minimum 2-4 Years Contract Negotiations experience
Minimum 2-4 Years Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) experience
Minimum 2-4 Years Experience in overseeing small scaled, non-complex projects, comprised of a small    number of deliverables and/or a small number of phases
Minimum 2-4 Years Focal point of contact regarding project status, meetings, reporting requirements, scope changes, and issues and concerns
Minimum 2-4 Years Working knowledge of various IT/Telecomm Products and services
Desired Skills
4 Years Demonstrated experience in the planning, design, acquisition, installation, implementation,      maintenance, management and support of large, carrier-grade telecommunications systems
4 Years Strong knowledge of Capital/Expense Budget procedures
4 Years Strong knowledge of City’s Procurement process and rules
4 Years Prior relevant experience in performing similar tasks and duties with Government (Federal, State or City) agency, in a complex IT environment
Tasks & Duties
• Assist in managing project execution from start through completion
• Assist in managing project resource allocation
• Assist in planning and scheduling project timelines
• Assist in tracking project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Assist in providing direction and support to project team
• Assist in providing management reporting and information dissemination
• Assist in constantly monitoring and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
• Assist in presenting reports defining project progress, problems and solutions to problems
