We are looking for a Jira Solutions Architect to join our client implementation team. This role involves providing expert solutions and architectural guidance for migration from ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management to Jira Software Cloud and Confluence Cloud, and for integrating ServiceNow ITSM with Jira Software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and optimizing Jira solutions to meet complex business requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement robust solutions using Jira Software Cloud and Confluence Cloud.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and tailor Jira architectures accordingly.
- Lead the integration of Jira with other tools and systems to create cohesive and efficient workflows.
- Ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security of Jira solutions.
- Support workflows, visualizations, and metrics at the team, value stream, and portfolio levels
- Establish a strong forecasting and planning capability leveraging Monte Carlo simulations
- Create Kanban boards with sophisticated workflows including specific conditions for closing items, including 'closed normally' and 'discarded' statuses.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance in best practices for Jira configuration and customization.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in Jira technologies and incorporate these advancements into solutions.
- Conduct training and workshops for clients and internal teams on Jira functionalities and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Jira implementations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Jira Solutions Architect or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of Jira Software Cloud and Confluence Cloud.
- Strong understanding of IT service management and software development life cycle.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in dynamic environments.
- Proficient in using plugins such as ScriptRunner for Jira, Zephyr, Timesheets, Structure, and/or Timeline
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications in Jira are highly desirable.
