IT Development and Management: DSS has a constant increased need for the provision of full systems life cycle applications development on various computer platforms, including a variety of client eligibility and recertification systems, employment/work engagement services, claims systems, etc., that are critical to the operation and functioning of DSS programs, requiring periodic refinements to maintain the applications at optimum service levels. Having a project portfolio which properly reflects the user’s business needs and DSS’ workload is crucial. Therefore, there is a need for IT consulting resources for the expanding responsibilities at DSS.
Archibus Implementation: The Archibus Implementation project is a full-scale implementation of the Space and Move Management modules of the Archibus product for all the buildings in the GSS real estate portfolio. The system shall provide an ability to load/add HRA master site data and list various types of areas and their locations in a floorplan for various HRA buildings. The system will also provide seamless ability to move individuals/groups/programs from one work location to another in cases where transfers are needed.
Integrated Eligibility System (IES): The Integrated Eligibility System (IES) initiative IES is intended to help the Department of Social Services (DSS) to streamline and standardize their eligibility to better support DSS staff and improve access for applications to health and human services programs. A key component of this initiative will involve determining the integration, retirement, and modernization approach for a variety of existing DSS legacy platforms. This will include a full cataloging of key functions and capabilities of the current DSS systems, as well as a thorough analysis of both the system and operational dependencies of IES retirement/integration related decisions.
Tasks & Duties • Conduct and Implement Testing of application • Develop test cases and acceptance criteria • Conduct QA testing and acceptance between staff, developers, and stakeholders. • Coordinate QA testing and acceptance between QA staff, developers, and stakeholders. • Create Test cases vs. RTM Matrix against the user stories to support application development • Develop business and technical requirements • Identify user stories and translate them into technical requirements as required • Develop user stories and break down requirements into deliverable functionality. • Review the requirements with the stakeholders for their approval. • Provide Management Reporting and Information dissemination • Analyze and document current systems and processes as currently implemented. • Make recommendations for improvements based on client feedback. • Work directly with business stakeholders, clients, designers, developers, and engineers to coordinate the building of applications to spec and on time.
Required Skills
Minimum 4 Years Experience in Business Analysis tools such as: JIRA, Balasamiq & MS Visio.
Minimum 4 Years Experience working and coordinating with the Technical teams in documenting business and functional requirements.
Minimum 4 Years Experience in overseeing project deliverables.
Minimum 4 Years Experience in designing the Data model and application Prototypes.
