The Cloud System Engineer (SE) candidate shall be a self-starter with the ability to operate in this role with minimal supervision.   
Serves as the Cloud SE in providing migration and operations oversight of the customer’s various IT components and applications.  Provide oversight and technical input in designing, migrating building, configuring, administering all components of an AWS or Azure cloud platform.  
Leverage broad technical knowledge of the Government Cloud offerings of key providers, including Amazon Web Services and Azure to support custom solutions that meet the business and security needs of the client. Ability to support range of hybrid cloud solutions including IaaS, SaaS, and/or PaaS.
Advice customers on various Cloud solution options, discuss benefits and risks of each, and recommend a solution that aligns with the customer’s business, information, application, and system requirements. May serve as lead or in a supervisory role for cloud oversight analyst
Associates Degree in an IT related field or 5-15 years of IT experience
• Applicants selected will need to pass the DHS EOD suitability process.
• 3+ years Microsoft Azure experience required
5+ years of technical experience with IT infrastructure with increasing responsibility
• Strong background in networking and storage technologies, Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory    
   Design, implementation, and administration
• Experience migrating applications / services to Microsoft Azure
• Experience with virtualization technologies i.e., Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, or vSphere
• Possession of excellent client interfacing, relationship building, and consulting skills 
• Experience with scripted deployments
• Experience working in a consulting environment
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail oriented and ability to multi-task
• Ability to work independently, self-directed, strong work ethic and adherence to deadlines.
• Ability to engage in multiple projects simultaneously
• Demonstrated effective client management (internal or external) skills 
• Knowledge of security best practices 
• Knowledge of Cloud network and security practices 
• Ability to effectively address data security concepts in the Government Cloud as it relates to client needs
• 3+ years of experience as a solution architect with AWS
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and implementing them to the cloud
• Experience with a variety of application frameworks and application migration a plus
• Verifying scripts for automated deployments in the Cloud 
• Provide guidance and direction for monitoring operational and financial cloud costs for the development of a chargeback model 
BS degree in CS, Information Systems, or a related business field from an accredited university
• Azure or AWS Certification as a Solution Architect Associate or Professional preferred
