 We are seeking a TeamCity Automated Test Engineer to manage our automated test suite configurations for the FBI CODIS project.
CODIS blends forensic science and computer technology into a tool for linking violent crimes. CODIS is a client server application developed using Microsoft .NET that supports a database repository of DNA profiles from individuals, unsolved crime scene evidence, and missing persons. CODIS software allows local, state, and national laboratories to compare DNA profiles electronically, thereby linking serial crimes to each other and identifying suspects by matching DNA profiles from crime scenes to individuals’ profiles. Additionally, the CODIS software is used to assist with the identification of unidentified human remains, missing persons and disaster victims. Automated testing is an integral part of our code quality software process.
The team is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the CODIS application. You will have a chance to learn some of the newest, cutting edge technologies and methodologies, while supporting a remarkable program that protects us every day.
• Manage overall CODIS Automated Test Suite configurations in TeamCity to include:
   o Build and maintain systems that will monitor the Automated Test Suite
   o TeamCity Project and Build configurations
   o Monitor/update TeamCity configurations based on performance requirements
•  Manage AT configurations in Visual Studio to include:
   o Automated Test to project allocations
   o Ensure proper formatting and best practices in place for reporting metrics/TC build allocation
• Investigate & Resolve TeamCity Build/Test failures.  Identify and perform actions necessary for resolution
• Monitor and report automated tests violating contractual duration and performance requirements
• Prepared to work with Software Developers to address issues with automated tests
• Identify/Update TeamCity configurations necessary to support dual/multiple baselines
Required Skills:
• BS in IT related field
• U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a government security clearance
• 5+ years providing support to development teams
• Strong attention to detail and solid troubleshooting ability
• In depth knowledge and experience of typical build and release management processes, including continuous integration platforms such as TeamCity
  o Modifying build steps
  o Troubleshooting build failures
  o Creating artifacts
  o Configuring
• Experience in Agile SDLC, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Deployment
• Previous experience working in a software development shop
Desired Skills:
• Experience with BDD Methodology, Gherkin, and SpecFlow
• Experience managing  and working with continuous integration servers with large suites (2500+) automated tests.
• Experience with Microsoft .NET Development

• Experience with the full range of CI tools and processes, such as for:
   • Collaboration
   • Planning
   • Source control
   • Issue tracking
   • Configuration management
   • Continuous integration
   • Monitoring
   • Automated testing
• Familiarity with CODIS Application
